He never gave ‘The Finger.’ But I can completely understand the Judge being so an_noyed by the guy, 1- being a re.peating offender and , 2- his attitude to a court_room & judge. People often forget ‘if you’re nice to judges like this, they may tend to be more lenient to you.’ Even if it just means speaking when spoken to and don’t be dis_respectful. – si
